Lotus has been with this pack most of her life and now watches over it from the sidelines with a jaundiced eye. She is a shrewd judge of character and her wisdom enables her to get to the heart of disputes quickly. Still, she has seen this pack go through many leaders and while she approves of Skah she is always anxious that a neer-do-well will slip through the cracks in their justice system. It is important to her that justice be meted out to any and all who deserve it.

General Personality:

Lotus is a fair-minded individual whose age as softened the edges of her once stubborn personality. She has grown wise over the years and mellowed out into a wolf who is more careful and wary rather than hasty and hot-blooded. She has a strong sense of justice and duty and despite her best intentions she can sometimes be too harsh in her press for lessons to drive home. This can make her seem bossy or arrogant to disrespectful or other stubbornly proud wolves. Despite this, she exudes an aura of natural leadership that she uses to full advantage with younger wolves particularly new pups. She enjoys watching after them to give their mothers a break and to give her a sense of connection to the pack. Many of the current members she saw when they were new pups and so she often dotes on them or worries after them like any loving Auntie would.

~ Background Information ~

General Background:

She is a particularly tender wolf towards younglings because oddly enough she never had pups in her time. Many years ago, Lotus had a mate who foolishly went off to hunt Shiza with a group of other young males. They ultimately deserted him all except for one and both her mate and his friend met their end in the aftermath of Shiza’s claws. This early loss led to Lotus becoming ever more crafty as she went about her pack duties in hunting and fighting. Her determination and pride quickly caught the eye of the Warrior wolves and so they guided her to train with them. Among these formidable peers, she became a natural at fighting with a mind as sharp as her fangs. Lotus still hates Shiza with every fiber of her being and awaits the day when a brave wolf will take the big cat down. Still, every spring Lotus took time out to help the brand new mothers with their litters as a no-nonsense Auntie who offered sage advice and support. Nothing soothes the pang in her heart for a litter of her own except by making the whole of the pack her pups.
